Erin Eastwood
Strategic Advisor
Erin is a marine conservation biologist and ocean policy consultant at Blue Spark Strategies, with broad experience connecting science with public policy to advance ocean health. Previously, she was NOPC's Program Director and helped to lead our coalition, campaigns, and projects to advance U.S. marine protected areas, including restoring protections for the Northeast Canyons & Seamounts and supporting the designation of the new Chumash Heritage National Marine Sanctuary. She received her M.A. in Conservation Biology from Columbia University in 2015, and has since worked to advance a variety of ocean conservation issues while working at the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the Society for Conservation Biology, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, NOPC, and now Blue Spark Strategies. She lives in Monterey, California, and loves to hike, camp, and be outside, and she takes absolutely every chance she can get to visit a coral reef.
